Most Nets fans dont want to hear about the Cavs playing great, or the fact that Kidd and RJ have both chocked in similar situations.
No, they want Vinces head. It makes it easier to just pin it on one player.

Re: SO he cost us the game...what now?
Back in our first finals run, supposedly Keith Van Horn cost us the Laker series....according to Kidd and KMart, he was traded the next offseason......I wonder why no one is calling out VC. Kidd has carried us to the 2nd round, won us a game in this series, yet no one has called out VC.

You know the answer most will give is that only Kenyon would be classless enough to call out a teammate.

Let's be clear. KMart didnt just call out KVH. He also called out Kittles. Kidd was asked if he agreed with KMart's comment and he muttered something affirmative.
KVH was traded because the Nets thought they needed a big man to counter Shaq. Instead, by the time they reached the finals, they were in need of something else: shooters.
KVH didn't have a player option. KVH wasn't selling any tickets. And there is no one on this team who could call out a teammate, particularly after the team had just completed its finest season ever.
The situation is quite a bit different.

Re: SO he cost us the game...what now?
- Before Kidd was traded to the Nets they were just a bad team
-first half of the "Kidd era" was Byron Scott
-Now is Vince Carter
But you got to wonder when Vince leaves after this season who's gonna get the blame,L.Frank,Sly,the empty purple seats, who???
Like Bill Goldberg used to say "WHO'S NEXT"

the Cavs played great? ha. this has been a very sloppy series, both teams have played poorly. The Cavs have played better than the Nets, but that isn't saying much. RJ and Kidd might have cost us games this season, but none as impportant as last game. I don't blame VC because of that last posession, I blame him for scoring so innefficiently, taking so many shots with few points and fouls drawn.

Let's just get rid of Carter.
Too much money, too many headaches, too much frustration, too much disappointment, not enough will and heart.
Nets can attempt to become a team again once Vince is gone.

Re: SO he cost us the game...what now?
Kidd and RJ have done ok as the 2nd and 3rd options bailing out Wince too often.
He hasn't shown he can hold his own as the leading scorer.
He doesn't want to be the man.
The Nets need someone whose up to the challenge. Vince has no cojones.

Didn't he get 13 freethrow attempts last game? He drew a lot of fouls, what he didn't do is hit a lot of shots

Still tries to avoid contact rather than draw it

thats true, he drew fouls in that game (although the refs seemed strict). If only he could have drawn that many fouls in the other games...

I just had a funny thought, VC goes off for 40 Nets force a Game 7, RJ sprains an ankle hobbling bad in Game 7, VC scores 50, but Nets lose the series. VC gets his 4 year 60 million contract to stay with the Nets and......training camp starts....to be continued....

Any scenario where Vince stays with the Nets is a sad one
