What type of contract is Mikki earning?
He was fantastic during the regular season and is really showing something now in the playoffs.
Plenty of teams looking, full MLE?

yup. Isiah Thomas will make the usual offer of full MLE to an overachieving Big Man.

Didn't he say he would be willing to take a pay cut to stay here?

Well to be fair, that was after Stern changed the league policy on carrying weapons and KG could no longer distract Zach with his pump, uzi and couple M-16s.

I want to get a sense of what type of contract he could be getting. Hes playing great, Jerome James got 30mill few seasons ago and hes not as good as Mikki.

"Jason has helped me start my career," says Moore. "And when the time comes and he wants me here, I'll take a pay cut to play with him."

What I meant was, Jerome james got paid for a playoff run when he was non existent during the regular season.
Mikki has been doing it all year long and I'll admit it, I thought he was going to drop off during the playoffs but hes kept it up.

Re: What type of contract is Mikki earning?
He can thank J-Kidd and Vince after he gets his contract. Not to say he didn't work hard, because he definitely did. He added that jumper from just outside the key which has been money but J-Kidd and Vince have been huge for him.

Ill agree to that. Mikki has proved he can be a suitable big body. Im just glad hes finaly in the NBA for good. I always knew he could make it if someone gave him a shot.

Re: What type of contract is Mikki earning?
Several factors must be counted in:
1. Does VC extend and at how much? Is Ratner really willing to pay luxury tax?
2. When do you commit to Krstic? This summer or next? How much?
3. Do you consider what you will want to pay Boki next summer?
4. How far do the Nets go? Each game the Nets win, his value goes up.
Moore turns 32 this off season. Giving him more than 3 years seems a real risk. Three years, $12 million.

Certainly not getting a 5/6 year deal. But could see him getting offered MLE type money.
I'd like to see him back on an MLE, 2 year deal. The Nets should save some money shaving Cliff's contract. But I would like to see House back too.

Is there a history there? My theory is that Gooden's little patch of hair on his neck used to be the little patch of hair missing from Rasheed's head. Drew must have won some epic battle and now wears that patch as a medal of honor. That's the only logical explanation for such a ridiculous hairdo right?"
