And then there were six...
Not trying to jinx anything, but we are now one of six teams remaining in the NBA playoffs. With the Bulls getting beat tonight it's us, Detroit, Cleveland, Utah, San Antonio, and Phoenix.
If we win tomorrow, and Phoenix loses, we would be one of five.
Hey, no matter what happens, this playoff run turned out okay. Not bad for a team that finished 41-41, one win less than the 2005 team that got swept by the Heat in the first round.

Well to be fair, that was after Stern changed the league policy on carrying weapons and KG could no longer distract Zach with his pump, uzi and couple M-16s.

Re: And then there were six...
no matter what happens, I'm proud of what the team has been able to accomplish this year. Could have given up after slipping 7 games below .500, but they kept fighting through the adversity faced both on and off the court.

Re: And then there were six...
Man when we were like 8 games under .500 who would have thought this? Maybe 1 of 5?
We lasted longer than the likes of:
1. Mavericks (67 Wins, one of the best records in NBA history)
2. Heat (Defending NBA Champions; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuEtST1V5nQ&eurl= )
3. Rockets (52 Wins, TMac and Yao? Nuff said)
4. Lakers (Kobe Bryant; team that wanted Kidd when we were horrid)
5. Suns? (Win tomorrow @ NJ and they lose @ SA and this is another great team)
Not too bad I guess

The Nets are a top 6 team without Krstic.... How can you want to give up on that?

if we win this series, we would be one of the final four teams for sure.

It doesn't matter. The Mavs choked, losing to the 8th seed. IF, IF the Nets get by the Cavs, they will have won two series against higher seeded teams. NO team in the playoffs will have done that by the time of the conference finals.
