His knees have been bothering him. He had the same padding Jason Collins had on his the entire play-offs. When you have a super-athletic player like Vince, to have your knees bothering you is not going to make matters better, because you rely on them so much. I think he just had a tough time getting into his rhythm this entire series. Part of it was the Cavs defense. But Carter is a guy who needs the ball in order to get into a rhythm, and I'm not sure that he got it enough the last game, considering he only took 3 shots in the fourth quarter.
Guys like Kobe, they constantly have the ball in their hands. Maybe when we saw Vince wasn't producing as much as we would have liked, we backed off and stopped giving him the ball as much, and that could have partly shut him down.

Anyways, Kidd has played 3 less playoff minutes and 2 less games overrall then Vince and about 126 regular season minutes less then Vince. The disparity between there minutes isn't much and yet one of them actually played well.

If he wants to be a part of this team, he has to play minutes and produce because this team needs him that badly. What do you expect, not to play him during the regular season. Sorry but the minutes excuse is not acceptable. Time to come up with a new one?

Actually when the trio played together healthy i'm pretty sure they had a record of over .500..

It still doesn't escape the fact that wade didn't "lead" the Heat anywhere.. He had nice stats but his team didn't get wins (where did I hear this arguement against a player before?)

...and if the Heat had Shaq, they would have had a much better record then the Nets but neither team did. Wade was playing with a shoulder that needs surgery and a 80% Shaq but he did lead them to a championship also.

Wade wasn't playing with an injured shoulder when he was trying to "lead" them without shaq.. Wade is just like any other SG.. He needs a big man to win games.. plain and simple.. Stats or no Stats..
