Jason Kidd can't be top 50?? i think today's NBA has so many more talented players and teams than MJ's time. during MJ's time there were about 5-6 awesome teams with great talent while everyone else was crap. today's nba has 5-6 great teams with great talent but other times have tremendous talent on them as well.

Since when is Kidd a womanizer? You know, besides speculation by a couple of dudes on a random message board?

Re: Source: Kobe Tells Lakers He Would Approve Trade To Just One Team
What a baby Kobe is. Seriously. (and a lowlife, too, but that's besides the point.) He would approve a trade to one team? I hope they trade his butt to Memphis. I'm tired of these guys who think they are bigger than the league and make stupid demands. Get over yourself, Kobe. You are self absorbed and I hope you get knocked out of the first round every single year.

Re: Source: Kobe Tells Lakers He Would Approve Trade To Just One Team
So if they can't get him traded to Chicago he's just stuck with them? Sounds a little crazy to me. Either you absolutely want to leave or you don't.
Anyway, this trade might still make it possible for NJ to steal someone's big man. It would be better of course if this fool didn't already have a swap in mind.

if it's chicago, he may be thinking, "I respect Jordan but I'm BETTER than him. If I go there...Jordan will be a thing of the past, watch! "
well, maybe Kobe is the one piece this Bulls team needs to win a championship. Kobe and Wallace and Gordon? Oh my.

Re: Source: Kobe Tells Lakers He Would Approve Trade To Just One Team
I wouldn't want Kobe here, I don't think we need him. We need a big man who can play defense and rebound. Even if it were to be a trade up for Vince and Kobe, I'd rather keep Vince and fill in where we have a need.

I don't like Kobe either but he can play on my team any day of the week. One team? We're out.

Kobe Backs Off Trade Request
30th May, 2007 - 8:24 pm
Rocky Mountain News -
Kobe Bryant spoke with coach Phil Jackson and backed off his midday trade request made on the Stephen A. Smith radio show.
"I don't want to go anywhere, this is my team," Bryant told KLAC radio. "I love it here. I called Phil, man, he and I talked, it was an emotional conversation, but he just said, 'You know what, Kobe? Let us try to figure this thing out.'
"Phil is a guy I lean on a lot."
Bryant told KLAC that his agent had contacted general manager Mitch Kupchak early Wednesday.
