Re: 06/07 Season in Review: Jason Kidd
Considering the adversity that he faced on-the-court (injuries, trade rumors) and off-the-court (divorce), I have to give Kidd an A+ in holding this team together and setting an example for the rest of the team.
When you step on that court, nothing else matters.

A+
Career numbers and performances at 34? Improved shooting at 34?

A. The kidd was great, showed why even the greatest players can't copy his ability to win games w/o scoring!

I couldn't decide between a B-/C+ type grade. Why I posted one way, voted another.

i will give him a B+ for being buddy buddy with vince...being PC isn't my cup of tea...call a spade a spade...he needs to be much more of a vocal leader.

A+ - honestly, at his age, what more could he possibly have done?

Am I the only one that believes the reports of his off court issues which effected others on the squad?

Seems so, and even if it were the case, it didnt really affect his on court performance.

Had no effect on the performance of the team at all?
I do recall an reported issue where his wife was in the stands harassing him during a game (vs Rockets).

good point that i didn't even consider.
then again, players generally don't throw other players under the bus in public. its one of those unwritten rules in the NBA fraternity. u dont mess with a players value during a contract year. he could very well express his true feelings to the front office.
