Re: Jared Dudley
BTW, I meant he should be drafted in the second round or late first, not with the 17th.

Gomes is not a decent athlete. Or if he is, so is Dudley. Dudley is never going to be an NBA starter, but every team needs intelligent guys (in hoops terms) that play their asses off from buzzer to buzzer coming off the bench. There's a reason that every team has one or two guys like that. Dudley is a very intelligent and hardworking player that's going to kill himself to make it in the NBA. Whether you like it or not, he's probably going to succeed.

Honestly, reading this, I could not have said it any better. Almost shed a tear.
Dudley also has a very high bball IQ. Countless times, this guy has tracked the miss and just has been in the right spot to put it back in. Literally, every team needs a guy like him. Players who can motivate themselves are tough to find in this league. Players who self-admittedly call themselves "junkyard dogs" are a rare commodity.

Heh I am not the one that said he is going to be a star in the Euro leagues. I actually think he could be a good rotation player, but as of now the odds are stacked against him.

Re: Jared Dudley
If it's any comfort, if the Nets do take him, by this time next year all the people shrieking the loudest against him will be the ones screaming about Dudley's inclusion in any trade rumours. The same thing's happened on the Knicks' board in regards Balkman. If the Hawks had any fans the same thing would be happening there in regards Josh Childress.
