The New York Post's Fred Kerber covers the Nets and generally does a good job, but how can he say today that the Nets are interested in DeVon Hardin? Didn't the news reach him that Hardin announced yesterday that he's returning to school? (Naturally, the NY Post will issue no correction.)
I've heard about Hardin and everyone on this list has. Jeez, he does this for a living. Why doesn't he know this? And if he doesn't know it, why wouldn't any NY Post sports editor reading his copy correct it??

As enticing as Crittenton might be at No. 17, the Nets' need for size likely will sway their choice. Among the top names they'll entertain are: 7-foot Colorado State center Jason Smith; Duke's 6-11 power forward Josh McRoberts; Cal's 6-10 DeVon Hardin; Nevada's 6-11 forward Nick Fazekas; 6-11 Brazilian forward Tiago Splitter; and LSU's 6-8 weight-conscious package of charisma and strength, Glen "Big Baby" Davis.
