Re: For the record- Draft
cant go wrong with durant or oden at the top, to be honest id rather have the 2nd pick instead of 1st. just so much easier no pressure. for our pick, i want sean williams. if we get fazekases wutever his name is i will cry. any of the high rated swingmen drop, im ok with picking them. not too excited bout any of the bigs in our range cept for williams

Re: For the record- Draft
Guys I am just not a fan of...
Brandan Wright ~ Too much of a project, his potential isn't even as high as some are projecting IMO.
Josh McRoberts ~ Not the kind of kid I'd want to attempt to develop. He doesn't have the set of balls I'd like to see from a player of his ilk.
Sean Williams ~ He reminds me of Keon Clark with character issues. I don't want 5/5/1.5 from a shot blocker in the first round.
Nick Fazekas ~ The game just isn't there...didn't show up in big games either. I like Kemp and Sessions on that Nevada team more.
Others I don't like...
=====
Outside of the lotto guys, here are some players I like...
Morris Almond ~ Can score, guard, productive college player. If he works on his ball skills, he'll be a nice player.
Derrick Byers ~ Solid looking role player who is solid in all facets. Pure bench guy, but he'll give you good minutes and production. Best basketball is ahead of him.
Jared Dudley ~ Same as Byers, but more of a natural 3.
Trey Johnson ~ Has a set of balls on him, very gritty player with skills to score off the bench. If Rod Stuckey is a lotto pick, he is a solid player late in round 1.
Others I like:
Taurean Green
Acie Law 4 ~ Great scorer and leader...is he a starter or a really good bench player though?
Nick Young
Jules Wright
Thad Young ~ Potential is there...
Marco Belinelli
Big Baby ~ His downside is Tractor Traylor.
D-Nichols ~ He can defend and score...what isn't to like.
Arron Afflalo ~ Their is a place in the league for bench guys who can defend.
Ramon Sessions
=====
Guys I loooove...
Oden
Durant
Horford
Brewer
Noah
TIAGO
Jeff Green
Mike Conley

Re: For the record- Draft
At #17, we're taking Sean Williams.
If we get a later pick, we're taking Glenn Davis or Marcus Williams
If you see an "Edited: Today" note on the bottom of this post after the draft, it's an accident.

Re: For the record- Draft
I'm on the Thad Young for the Nets bandwagon, unless someone we really don't expect to be available falls to 17.
I'm against Sean Williams b/c we already have a big that can't score and we don't need any more problems off the court.
