OT: Maceo Baston to Raptors
His name has been passed around recently, so I thought it was semi relevant, although I don't think too much of this guy.
Also officially signed Kapono
EDIT: damn it its 3am and thats my excuse for why I didn't spell it Raptors. Any Mod wanna help a sleepy dude out? |

Thron better get on the Ball...No more waiting for Moore....I don't want it to be like every other year where we wait and then sign some scrub and them take a chance on them and either they crap out or play well and want too much money the next year and end up someplace else.....What happened to Ratner opening the wallet ??????

Nets wanted him a couple years back he was a big star in the Euroleague but hasnt done anything special to make an impact in the NBA but Colangelo loves Eurostars thats why he took him, but hes from Michigan University he only played in the Euroleague after college so hes not actually a typical European

hoopshype had Thorn dropping names and Baston was one of them, then further down their rumors page, there's a piece about Baston signing an offer from Toronto.....Thorn's really off his game to not know that Baston's off the table.

I like Baston fine but he's a 3/4 who can't really stay with faster guys and can't body up bigger ones. Sure he's athletic as all hell but how many bigs do we need that have no real post moves and can only score right around the basket? I think he's a nice bench player for Toronto as insurance but Humpries should still get most of the time unless i'm missing something.
