Re: SI's Marty Burns: Nets 8th best team in East
Raptors, Heat and Wizards are not better than the Nets when healthy.
Raptors are a poor defensive team. Heat have a lot of holes. Wizards have never been better than the Nets, why now?
And the jury is still out on the Celtics due to very weak depth and their head coach.

Re: SI's Marty Burns: Nets 8th best team in East
I really dont care much what Burns or Hollinger (who said basically the same thing) write about the Nets.
I remember quite well in 2001 that only two pundits thought the Nets would do very well...Jerry Bembry and Charles Barkley.
And I also think people who underrate the Wizards are nuts as well. Continuity counts.
Same goes for the Raptors. Delfino and Kapono off the bench is going to be a killer for that team. Bargnani improves, Bosh improves, Parker improves.

What makes you think 32 year old Parker will improve that much?
I also think Bosh is what he is now, which is good. 2 years of 22/10. I don't expect big improvement there.

Toronto's a better regular season team imo.
You guys had alot more experience, in the playoffs then they did. I expect them to be better this season, than they were last season.
