Re: 07/08 Nba Championship Odds
Am I the only Nets fan here who thinks that this team is a contending team for the chip. I mean I really do think VC will show us some real heart this season Carter knows all of the critics and will be trying his hardest which means attack the rim and dont fall in love with the jumper. Kidd will play like the HOF PG that he is and practically still average a triple double. Jefferson is healthy again so his dunking and mid air adjustments should be better. Thats just the big three.
We now have a healthy Kristic who could give you 18 and 8 or more per night. Jammall Magliore could hopefully add us tat post presence that we really do need. Not to mention Marcus, Wright, Boone are all one year older and one year more experienced in this league. We have Sean Williams/Jason Collins to help in the rotation of the big men.
There are a lot of "If's" in the upcoming Nets season but if the big 3 play great like they should and everyone else does their job the Nets should have at least a 50 win season.

Two reasons:
Magloire, Krstic, and Sean Williams join our frontcourt.
Second, Marcus, Boone, Antoine add another year experience.
Although this is not shown on the paper and significant enough
(Magloire is not as shiny as KG), we are still a good TEAM.

Re: 07/08 Nba Championship Odds
The odds are constantly fluctuating according to how people bet.
The fact that a bunch of fans and gamblers are betting the Celtics now doesn't mean ****.
Championships are not won in the court of public opinion!
