Gerald Green and Antoine Walker are you serious?? In Boston's case they traded Green to get KG but
question:why did Pat Riley trade Walker for Cory Blount?
answer: He's done.
And the Nets don't like High School players they chose Antoine Wright over Green.
The only thing I'd do now is wave Darrell Armstrong and sign Eddie Gill, DA's too old.
Besides that this team just won 2 in a row, wait till Marcus Williams gets back the team always starts off slow.

Mags to Sonics for Petro and Swift? Wait that sucks too. Petro is the Boki to my johnson/jackson. Swift is an expiring contract, and Petro is a project comming off minor injury. I basically think that Petro would sit for the rest of the season, but be active next year.
That's my best idea for a player we don't even bother playing. Also, I'd prefer West over Green if we're taliking spare parts from the Celtics trade. But I think 2 7ftr's for Mags is the value meal.

Yeah Petro was one of the top prospects in Europe on 04, and this would have been his break out year, but he was too built and the added muscle weight caused him injury. He could develop into a Samuel Dalembert type player, but since you think he's garbage, forget it.
You're right, Antoine Walker will change our fortunes. Great call. That's the answer!
I wouldn't want to disagree with you and be a "loser".
Very glad I spent any time using my brain, try it sometime.

Re: Trade Senario....what Do You Think..?
Antoine Walker is Malik Allen who shoots way more FG attempts.

I dont know I recall him winning a title with Miami and going to the ECF with Boston. Not that I want him on the Nets but just saying, he does have a championship ring

Re: Trade Senario....what Do You Think..?
Man, this is the worst championship trade I've ever seen.
Newark, do you play in a fantasy basketball league? If so, I will trade you Raef Lafrenz, Larry Hughes and Dikembe Mutumbo for some of your unproven young talent. Hey, they're proven vets.
Adding Walker and becoming a championship contender? Man, that made my day. I'd rather see how Nenad pans out.

Ah, but again, which team that will not win the championship will do so with Antoine Walker.
As in, present and future tense. He's not 'the guy' who's going to get you that ring. So he will not win a title for anybody in this league.
Consider myself re-thought :-)

Re: Trade Senario....what Do You Think..?
Antoine Walker is amazing. He's the only guy i know in the league that can single handedly keep the OTHER team in the game. Stupid turnovers, missed layups and ill-advised shots. Man, what championship team couldn't use that type of talent on their team?

Re: Trade Senario....what Do You Think..?
Stupid as hell. Kristic is essential for this Nets team. His outside shots killed teams when he was healthy last year and in 05-06. People just dont understand how important he is. I mean Geral Green and Antoine Walker? Green is not ready for playoff contention and Walker cant even stay healthy.
