The Nets should've kept House or paid him, instead of wasting 4 mill on a player who isn't helping the team..

He boxed out.. Something Boone, S-Will and Allen did not do the entire game..

When Collins went to bench.. Were you watching the same game I was? Soon as Frank brought in S-Will, Maxiell ate him alive on the boards.. Then he tried to counter with Boone and he got dominated, the Frank brought in Collins and Maxiell was somewhat limited.. Most of Maxiell's damage wasn't against Collins..

I recall Collins and Allen fumbling easy rebounds. Just letting Maxiell, Mcdyess and Rasheed gobble up boards. Collins and Allen had 4 rebounds total for 3 quarters. Whats so encouraging about that

Not saying Collins was perfect this game.. But he was the most effective big for the Nets tonight.. And you of all people should know not to judge Collins by his rebounds.. He's not in there for that reason.. He did what he was suppose to do, and that was to box out..

Re: Game 17 - Nets @ Pistons, Sunday, December 2, 6:00
Every single Piston frontcourt player was in double digits this game. Collins obviously was guarding one of those guys. Their bigs helped them tonight, the Nets bigs didnt. The Collins I saw out there, could not grab easy rebounds. So he boxed out, whoop de damn doo, he and his other frontcourt pals were the reason why the team lost

Re: Game 17 - Nets @ Pistons, Sunday, December 2, 6:00
It all starts out with our guards, if they can't outplay the piustons guards we have 0 chance of winning the game. The bigs are another thing.

it's a slow process guys, Frank's been trying to teach the bigs to rebound so give em sometime to perfect that skill.

Not saying the Collins didn't make mistakes.. He did.. But it's no coincidence that the Nets started to go down in that second quarter when Maxiell came on and Collins went to the bench.. And again, I could care less if Collins didn't grab a rebound or missed one.. He's not out there to grab rebounds, he's out there to keep the other bigs off the glass and to play defense on their best post player.. He did what he was suppose to do tonight when he played..
Guys like Allen and Boone are the Nets bigger problems at the Forward and Center postion.. Allen doesn't guard anyone, doesn't box out and doesn't rebound.. He scored 10. Great, but he gave up even more on defense and extra possessions.. And Boone is horrible..
