Re: Knicks Offered Randolph for Carter
I'd pass. For all that Carter might be seen as stopping the Nets offense, Randolph would be much worse.

Re: Knicks Offered Randolph for Carter
NO NO NO! I would anyday of the week rather have Carter than Zebo. Carter is still an above average passer and could still drop 40 on anyone on any given night. A big NO!

Re: Knicks Offered Randolph for Carter
Anyone here actually watch zach play on the knicks? he has had some amazing passes. And although he wont block many, he has nights where he'd steal like 4.

Re: Knicks Offered Randolph for Carter
NO! As much as Carter does not fit Kidd's game, Randolph is worse. Also, now is not the time to take minutes away from Boone and Williams...they are doing well and growing...

Re: Knicks Offered Randolph for Carter
That's a yes to me. carter and jefferson are simmilar type. There'll be nights that we need weapons down low. Would be nice if its curry instead of zebo.

Re: Knicks Offered Randolph for Carter
Though Isiah Thomas has denied it, the New York Knicks put Zach Randolph on the trading block a few weeks ago to see what type of interest he would get. The Milwaukee Bucks reportedly offered a package that included Charlie Villanueva and the New Jersey Nets offered Vince Carter. The Knicks turned down both deals.

Who knows which version is right, if either, but I thought it was funny that two different sources are reporting two opposite versions of the rumor.

Re: Knicks Offered Randolph for Carter
If you guys get Zach Randolph here, Kidd would still want to be traded. At the end you guys will end up with RJ and Randolph, and that is a horrible duo to play with only one basketball.

Re: Knicks Offered Randolph for Carter
Regardless of Carter going or Not, i bet Kidd still wants to be traded. Heck, he might be traded before Carter is traded.
