With Bynum, Gasol, Turiaf, Radman and Mihm all 6' 10" or taller, the Lakers could trade Odum for Kidd.

Their salaries are close.

Kobe should be happy if he gets Kidd to go with Gasol.

It might be the best value we can get for Kidd.

Of course, we then would have Odom, Krstic, Williams, Boone, Swift and Allen at 6' 10 or better but Odom is the most talented of them all.

Horrible trade. Trading Kidd means rebuilding, and Odom alone does nothing for us in that respect. The Lakers already gave up 2 of their 1sts, and Crittendon. They would need to include Farmar for the Nets to even look at the trade, and they say they won't do that.

The lakers don't need Kidd now, they have strong front court - Bynum if healthy, Gasol, Odom.

Kidd is screwed, I don't think he will be dealt before trade deadline.
