Magloire + Boki + something for Mike Miller?
There is a new rumor about that. If that's true, I wish it's going to happen, but stop the trade about Kidd.
Everything we need is the consistent scorer off the bench, Mike Miller averages 18 points this season, he is a tremedous scorer for us, otherwise he will help us in the 3pt shooting category.
He could be the best sixth man easily. Just do it Thorn, I don't mind add one draft pick for accomplishing this trade.
We can be a contender easily.

Would love to have Miller on this team. It does make Vince more expendable. Or is it RJ? He would be a costly 6th man to bring off the bench

So Kidd will still go no matter the resistance of Devin George?
Harris Carter RJ Boone Krstic + Mike Miller.

Dallas won't risk killing their team chemistry. They have to get the deal done. Basically they will restructure the trade with or without George's consent. By the way is Antoine Wright still a Net?

I thought the Nets were rebuilding as soon as they trade Kidd.

The Nets can't rebuild with Carter and Rj's contracts still on the books.. The plan is to restructure around Carter and RJ until their trade values get high enough.. Win/Win for thorn if he gets Miller in the process..

Re: Magloire + Boki + something for Mike Miller?
Their value isn't going to be any higher than now, especially not Jefferson's value. He is averaging a career high in points, if you can't move him now will you ever ? Same thing with Carter, he isn't having a stellar season, but if you really want to rebuild you need to try hard to trade him while he has value. The Nets weren't going nowhere with Kidd and this isn't going to change now.

Re: Magloire + Boki + something for Mike Miller?
Its going to be hard moving Vince, so why not build around him. The JO trade is pure nonsense, but I figure Indy is probably the only team willing to take Vince's contract whilst getting rid of a disappointing JO.
RJ and Miller is redundant though. Miller is a finisher not a creator, same thing with RJ. At least with VC you know he will always find the open man.
The irony of all this is, the Nets are now bringing in this players after Kidd is most likely gone. Its almost like they are taunting him

Re: Magloire + Boki + something for Mike Miller?
PG-Devin Harris
SG-Mike Miller
SF-Richard Jefferson
PF-Jermaine O'Neal
C-Nenad Krstic
Bench:
Marcus Williams
Devean George (maybe)
Sean Williams
Stromile Swift
Josh Boone
Diop (to lazy)
Darrel Armstrong
We could still use to trade one of those bigs for a swingman.
I'm going to start the argument, and say I don't think that's a horribile team.

Nets dont need to rebuild with Harris coming back.
Still a competetive team with young pieces as well.
