So 20 and 10 on a lottery team is "GREAT"? He's a good player on a bad team.
Gomes is ok as long as he comes off the bench, Green is a high flyer with no substance.
Boston has a shot at the title the Wolves are garbage.
KG was MVP on the Wolves but McHale never surrounded him with talent.
He's a bad GM he should have been fired years ago.

Re: Kidd deal back on. Hassell and KVH in.
Kevin Garnett from the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for Ryan Gomes, Gerald Green, Al Jefferson, Theo Ratliff, Sebastian Telfair, a 2009 first round draft pick (top three protected) and a return of Minnesota's conditional first round draft pick previously obtained in the Ricky Davis-Wally Szczerbiak trade. Minnesota also receives cash considerations in the deal.
That was a great deal for Minnesota. Ryan Gomes is solid, Jefferson is doing amazing. Theo Ratliff is expiring soon. Telfair is a legit backup point guard for Foye. And picks. Minny gets back its own pick, and seeing how bad theyre doing, itll be a good one. Minnesota gets everything they want to prepare for the future since they werent winning now anyway. This was one of Mchales good moves I think.
Anyway, back to kidd

TWolves were garbage with KG.
TWolves made a great trade for Garnett. Jefferson, Gomes, Theo (capspace) and two 1st round picks.
Possibly McHale's finest moment.

Re: Kidd deal back on. Hassell and KVH in.
NOW it's up to KVH: http://netsdaily.com/ This trade is crazy, how many road bumps are these two teams going to hit?
I do find it pretty funny that the Nets are now trading Kidd and getting back KVH. I doubt they saw themselves in this situation four or five years ago!

Re: Kidd deal back on. Hassell and KVH in.
This guy had a great; not on a bad team great MVP great; talent and screwed it up.
KG was classy in not asking for a trade years ago.
McHale was a very good player but a horrible GM.

I haven't seen Minnesota enough this year to comment on Gomes.
Foye was injured this year he'd be a good backup, don't care for Telfair's style.
Guess it all depends what McHale does with the draft picks and if he can get any good free agents.
I'm sceptical because of his track record.
Sorry for going off topic.

Re: Kidd deal back on. Hassell and KVH in.
Foye would be starting on the Twolves.
And Gomes has been doing really good. Been clutchish at times too. But anyway, I agree, it does depend on if McHale can capitalize on those picks.
Anyway, I'm eager to see the crowd's reaction to Van Horn's first game if he stays with Nets and is actually traded.

no...I just think he's a great young player. i think he's going to be the face of that franchise and he's a player they can build around. what KG has done for the celtics isn't relevant to how good a trade it was for the wolves. not saying McHale is a good gm...trading Roy was as stupid as it gets...just saying I think he got a good deal for KG.
