Re: Kidds Debut
and looking at Kidd in a Mav's jersey looks so disturbing, its hard to accept it after seeing Nets for so long.

They both have 2 real good perimiter scorers, maybe Kidd is the real problem.
Nets undefeated in the true post-kidd era.

It is possibile that Kidd could have been the problem. I am not so sure Kidd was playing his hardest at all times, and even if he was messed up our teams with a lot of the moves he needed done to stay a Net. Also, if Carter/Kidd WEREN'T on good terms I wouldn't be surprised to see Carter play better.
I love Kidd, but it seemed like after K-Mart left his true Jason Kidd self was gone, because we sure didn't have a lack of talent after K-Mart left.

Kidd plays like **** while his new team loses and his old team wins without him.

Re: Kidds Debut
It seems like people seem to be overlooking the fact that the Mavs played the Hornets and the Nets played the CHICAGO BULLS.

It seems you're overlooking the fact that the Nets are supposed to be a lottery team now and the Mavs are supposed to be championship contenders.

Pop Quiz 1)What's the Bulls record?
2)What's the Hornets record?

Re: Kidds Debut
The Chicago Bulls have more talent on their roster than the Hornets, why are some acting like the Nets played an NBDL team. Welcome to the West Jason, things are not supposed to get better. Paul just showed him a glimpse of what he is in for. Do you know how many point guards are going to light the Mavs up this year? Not trying to hate on Kidd, but if he thinks the Mavs with their thin frontcourt and playing out West is going to make it easier to get a championship, he must be on something good. Every game out there is going to be a battle.
On the other hand I am surprised he played so much minutes already. He couldn't have learned the offense so fast

Please get this nonsense logic out of here. The Mavs lost to the 37-15 Hornets, aka the team with the best record in the West. The Nets beat the 21-32 Bulls with their 2 best players playing hurt and coming off the bench.

Talent doesn't mean **** if you suck, and the Bulls suck. How much talent you have on your "roster" also doesn't mean **** when your 2 best players are hurt. Something tells me that a starting lineup of Kirk Hinrich, Thabo Sefolosha, Andres Nocioni, Joe Smith, and Ben Wallace isn't quite as talented as a starting lineup of Chris Paul, Mo Peterson, Peja Stojakovic, David West, and Tyson Chandler.
Seriously, what is with this ridiculousness?

As a knick fan,I can assure you that you got a steal regardless of Kidds future performance. He 34 and running on a microfracture Knee.He has lost enough lateral quickness that he can no longer stay in front of quick point guards. This was a major blunder by Cuban and Dallas..MAJOR

Re: Kidds Debut
True or False?
1. Kidd played bad. TRUE
2. Nets looked good without him. TRUE
It's only one game but it's still funny if you ask me.

Okay, let's say there are two 1-on-1 matchups happening. In one of them, Kobe Bryant is facing Ben Gordon. In the other, I'm facing a paraplegic. Kobe beats Gordon, and I beat the paraplegic. So, I must be better than Ben Gordon, right?
