Wow, more great news...
Minneapolis police are investigating a nightclub incident involving New Jersey Nets forward Richard Jefferson.
Jefferson allegedly put his hands on a man's neck until he lost consciousness after the man asked the uninvited player to leave a private party he was hosting on Jan. 27. Jefferson left before police officers arrived and when the investigation is finished, a decision on whether a criminal charge is warranted will be made.

He gotta concentrate on season...that ******* drug test coming up. We telling him he needed 33 days before he took his ******* test; dry-out, and he didn't...that's let me know right there that he ain't taking his ****** job serious."

These stories are always bull****.
How would it randomly come out weeks after it happened, I hear about it before this and it was still way after the trip to minny.

Wow, you posted something negative about your boy? I'm surprised. But seriously, I didn't think RJ wouldn't be the type to do something like this. I'm guessing he was drunk during this incident? Nobody's ever mentioned that he's a mean drunk. Oh well. He's in the NBA, so he'll probably just pay off whoever he has to pay off and it won't be an issue.

Re: Wow, more great news...
I'm here. Where else am I going to go. I try to watch Kidd play on Dallas, but I get way too bored, especially when my screen freezes every other minute. I just can't get into it, even though Kidd is my favorite player. I also don't want Dallas to win, so that adds to my boredom. As for the Nets, I admit I was bored during that 6-game road trip that was just blowout after blowout. I can't get into it. But these last two games that have been wins, I've enjoyed them.
I imagine that most fans go through this when their team kind of starts rebuilding... Even if you weren't a diehard fan of the players leaving, it's still strange to go from rooting for a team that was expected to win playoff series, to rooting for a team that's not expected to do much of anything. You wonder, if they don't care, why should the fans care?

well its not hard for fans who have been watching the nets when they sucked. I became a fan when nets went to playoffs against bulls and still was a fan when marbury was a net. I somehow found excuses to root for them. There were alot of random things like Kendall Gill always looking like he will be healthy during off season, and Johnny Newman maybe averaging more than 12ppg. It was fun speculating.
