Diop's performance
I've been impressed by Diop's play thus far as a Net. Bogut was killing us inside until Diop was put on him.

Re: Diop's performance
He's the best post defender we have Thorn needs to bring him back forget Krstic he's done.

Re: Diop's performance
Thorn has already said they are looking to resign him. I know they miss him down there in Dallas, the guy really plays smart. I didn't even know he could hit that 18 footer. He is basically the athletic version of Jason Collins

Re: Diop's performance
I don't know if he ever hit a jumpshot in Dallas, but two is definitely coincidence.

Re: Diop's performance
I think every NBA players have the jump shots ability at least, it decides by whether they'd like to use it in the game.
after all, everyone can shoot the ball casually, no matter it's in or not.
for comparison, the low-post skills are more difficult to learn.

Re: Diop's performance
He said that in Dallas if he got the ball, he would have to give it to Dirk...Avery's orders.
"I am able to shoot," he told the Post.
He said that Frank had told him he had the freedom to shoot if open.
Thank you, Avery Johnson.

Don't get your hopes up too soon, you don't learn to play offense over night.

If he can tie his own shoes, he's more athletic than Jason Collins.

Re: Diop's performance
Diop was solid last night playing defense and hitting open shots.

Re: Diop's performance
He's good to have as a post defender, but against most teams I'd rather have Krstic/Boone and Swift/Williams as the 4 bigs.
