What do you think the future holds in store for him?

If his game doesn't pick up, do you see him getting offers from other teams?

He'll be a RFA. Do Nets just give NK the QO? Do they offer him a multiyear deal at near the MLE? Would they match a bigger offer from another team?

I honestly dont know right now, but if he can get to at least 75% of what he used to be then its a plus. He's clearly struggling right now, his jump shot that was once automatic is now erratic. He is extra slow and is worse on defense. I think one more full year is good just to reavaluate whether he is worth signing long term or not.

I say sign and trade for some pick. Nenad could probably help some teams but I think he lost his place here.

That would mean trading Krstic to a team with capspce.

Not many of those teams, and I would imagine they could use that capspace on a player better than Krstic.

I doubt he will ever return to his previous shape. Look at guys who went through similar surgeries and how much they lost in terms of basketball skills:
Lafrentz, Grant Hill, Mashburn, Robert Swift, etc...

These players never recovered fully, and lost a lot. If we do resign Krstic, I bet all we would be signing is a big that wont ever get back to original shape and still be suffering from a nagging knee.

Sign him back. Do you guys understand that hes coming off major surgery. Hes not gonna come bouncing back. It takes a while. Nenad will be back to his old self and proabably better in a few weeks. As for starting him we should stop.

I'm starting to think he won't ever be close to his old self he shows signs then he goes back into his shell.
If a player falls of the map in a contract year you don't resign him.
