Coming off perhaps their biggest win of the season, the Jazz will look to close out their last long road trip of the season on a positive note, heading into New Jersey. They currently sit at the top of their division, but are still spinning their wheels in the Western Conference standings. The Jazz continue to talk about coming off a big win, then playing a winnable game afterward, deeming it a "trap game". The Jazz have really struggled on the road in these so-called trap games and have posted losses to the Clippers, Minnesota and recently in Chicago.

The Jazz's key to winning this game is to keep the intensity from the previous game. Against the Celtics they worked very hard on defense, never lost focus, executed the offense and came away with a win. In terms of this game, they need to focus on wing defense with a couple of very talented and athletic wing players in Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson.

Since the Kidd trade, New Jersey has been steadily heading downward. Although, they haven't had the most favorable of schedules lately, the Nets are looking to rebound at home and continue their work for a playoff berth in the Eastern Conference. Their remaining schedule is also pretty rocky, so a win in this game would be very valuable.

New Jersey has been a team over the years that takes pride in their defense. They'll have their hands full, especially at the point guard position, with keeping Utah contained. Utah is coming off a back-to-back and with the young team they have, a few strong bursts of energy along with consistent, stable play could prove as the key for a Nets win. This one will definitely take some hard work and a team effort to combat the Jazz's physical play.

I think if we keep the intensity up we had against the Cavs we have a shot at winning this one. Again I just have another gut feeling .

LOSE.. I've seen nothing that makes me optimistic about the Nets chances of making the playoffs.. Beating the Cavs without two of their better defensive players isn't worth talking about..

Also, where has VC gone? He's reached new levels of sucktitude.. His numbers lately are just down right pathetic.. 14ppg on 36 percent shooting, 3 FTA's a game ,shooting 20 percent from 3.. Heck I could understand the shooting numbers, as all players go through shooting slumps, but 3 free throw attempts a game is pretty horrific.. Even for VC standards..

The Nets have been horrible overall this season and this is a winnable game but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if we lose tonight. AS far as Vince goes he looks horrible out there, he cant hit a jump shot or even finish inside anymore. Historically VC has had some of best games against the Jazz and I hope he goes off tonight.

I think VC will go off tonight. Of course someone says this every night but I think it will finally happen tonight. Is Kirileikno playing? I dont see anyone able to stop VC on the defensive end tonight for the Jazz.
