Re: Game 73 - Nets @ Pacers
This game is all but over. With the Nets luck they will hit a shot with 2 seconds left on the shot clock.

Re: Game 73 - Nets @ Pacers
I really want someone to hold Lawrence Frank accountable for some of the stunts he pulls on the court. Marcus isn't a rebounder, that missed rebound basically lead to a wide open three for the Pacers. Damn you and your small ball lineup Frank!

Frank wow. I just don't know what to say. Such a crucial game and the guys making bone head decisions like putting a much smaller and at the same time bad defensive player on a much taller offensive player. How many buckets did Daniels score in a row?

Well Thorn has said Frank isnt going anywhere so he can afford to fool around with such an important game.

Re: Game 73 - Nets @ Pacers
Come to think of it, this whole season has been one big ****ing experiment for Lawrence Frank. Lineups changing at will, no set rotation, players playing one game and then getting benched for the next five. Lol and yet this guy still has a job

Re: Game 73 - Nets @ Pacers
I like Lawrence Frank as a person. I truly feel he's a great, hard working individual but I just don't think he's the right coach for this team with the personnel they have. The only way you can get away with playing small ball for long periods of time is if your Golden State because their small guys are TOUGH TOUGH guards. The guards on this team like Marcus and forwards like Boki are soft so you can't get away with it. Any coach with a brain knows their both weak defensively and will attack them with whoever their guarding. Oh well, looks like he's here for another couple of years.
P.S. Bulls are making a big comeback and it's only a 1 point game with almost 3 minutes to go. Hopefully they can beat Atlanta to make this loss feel a little bit better even though it should've been a win.

Re: Game 73 - Nets @ Pacers
Give Frank some defensively oriented, high basketball IQ guys and he'd do wonders.. Right now the Nets have 1 or 2, maybe 3 (Diop, Harris, Hassell).. Vince has a decent BBall IQ despite his stupid fadeaways, but doesn't play a lick of defense, and RJ has fallen off the deep end in that regards.. Boone and S-Will are both still learning.. Guys like stromile, M-Will and Boki are just low basketball IQ players that Frank is forced to play.. Changing him wouldn't do much for the Nets.. They need a complete roster overhaul..

Frank is only trying to find guys that are willing to do what he asks of them on a consistent basis.. So he has every right to bench guys like M-Will, S-Will/Slomile when they make stupid mistakes or miss rotations and defensive assignments.. My only problem with Frank is that he doesn't have the guts to do it to Vince and RJ when they do the same thing..
The Nets are lucky they don't have a Pat Riley, Larry Brown or Greg Popovich coaching them..

Re: Game 73 - Nets @ Pacers
Beasley wouldn't be the answer for the nets, not when you have RJ and Vince. The roster isn't that bad, BUT they are truly missing a big man that has at it on both ends. Even a Drew Gooden or Chris Wilcox would help this team immensely. Josh boone has improved dramatically but he can't defend the best bigs in the league, and Diop would be a good fit beside say Jermaine O'neal. If somehow they can trade RJ to the pacers that would be great.
