Team For Next Year
As the title says with the draft, free agency, and trades waht do you think will be the 12 man roster for the Nets by opening tip next year.
Starting Five:
PG evin Harris
SG:Vince Carter
SF:Richard Jefferson
PF:Josh Boone
C:Nenad Kristic
Bench:
Brandon Rush, Mike Miller, Sean Williams, Stromile Swift, Maurice Ager, Desanga Diop, and a backup PG that I cant think of right now.

Re: Team For Next Year
heh i wonder how u get Mike Miller from there
I think the 5 will be the same but the bench will include still Diop, Sean Williams, Swift and Marcus Williams. The Nets will add in the draft Joe Alexander/Chase Budinger. Later I'd like for them to grab Davon Jefferson or DJ White.

Re: Team For Next Year
I wouldn't be surprised in the least to see Rod trading up. That is, of course, if we don't win the lottery...

Re: Team For Next Year
Sean Williams really needs more PT next season, him & boone played great in that starting spot.
maybe a certain midget redhead will be gone by next season,.
that is 1 must NJ must have. Play sean williams, his ability to block & alter shots alone is worth a starting spot.

Re: Team For Next Year

Re: Team For Next Year
The team needs a shooter badly, especially with Boki looking like a goner. I'm all for S-Will getting more playing time. We should see how well a partnership of Boone and S-Will does over the course of a season. If we don't win the lottery(highly unlikely, but one can hope), I can see Thorn packaging all of this year's picks and moving up. I think that would be best, who needs anymore young players on the team who need time to develop. quality vets+shooter, that should be what Thorn looks for this off-season.
