I'm just guessing here, but if Nets hadn't traded Marcus, they wouldn't have picked up his 4th yesr option before the season started, and he would have been an UFA at seasons end, and Nets would have lost him for nothing.

Rod Thorn would rather trade all the players including LeBron if he was a Net than firing Lawrence Frank.

CP3 with Hornets, Deron with Jazz, now Marcus with Warriors, he is the next surprising point guard.

16 - 4 - 8 with Warriors.
