Should be fun watching him with the Warriors. He fit's the faster-paced game pretty well. I couldn't think of a lot of team that would take him, but Golden State is a great fit.

Excellent deal. God I love Chris Mullin. That they were able to get more than a can of beans for Marcus is an absolute miracle. His stats will certainly go up though.
Marcus is one of the slowest point guards in the league. I am not sure his skills suit playing up and down.

Lol @ his stats will go up, so does that mean he will no longer be a terrible player?
Bottom line is, Marcus got the raw end of the deal here. They never gave him an opportunity to succeed. He is the only player I have seen that gets rewarded when he plays well by being benched.
Actually thats false, Sean Williams also has the same problem and I won't be surprised if the Nets end up trading him also, only to watch him blossom on another team.
The thing with Marcus and Sean is that they aren't Frank type players. Neither one of them are fundamentaly sound and are prone to mistakes. Frank would rather play a guy like Collins who was not the best player, but he was smart and did the little things and didn't make mistakes. Thats why Frank played Darrell Armstrong over Marcus because he is the kind of player Frank loves. Same with Sean he would get into foul trouble and make mistakes, and Frank wasn't patient enough to work through those mistakes.
However as much as I like Sean, I think its in his best interest if he gets traded to a team that can play him to his strengths.
