Neither final plans nor financing are in place, but Zoffinger said there could be a link from the Secaucus Transfer Station, an NJ Transit rail hub that recently opened a few miles away, or the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail system, now in partial operation in Hudson County.

Well, we'll see what happens with the Nets and Devils. If they stay, we should see improvements to CAA. I think a connection to the Secaucus Station would be great. It will provide a mass transit link to the city and to the rest of the state.

If there was a train that went to there, I'd be much more likely to go to more games.

It probably wouldn't change things for me, since the train ride wouldn't save me any time, and the fare would probably cost more than tolls/parking does now. Of course, if this Xanadu creates traffic/parking problems, then maybe.

Of course, if there are more people there, creating a better atmosphere, I'd want to go more often.

Its kool that this may sway the nets to stay in jersey. I am strongly against teams being moved all in the search of dollars, to me its unsportmanlike...

Yeah, but you have to remember that its a business. If you've won 2 consecutive conf. championships, and still no one is showing up, that's a problem.

As much as I want them to stay, I can't really blame potential owners to try a new location.

Of course, I don't think attendance has been a problem in every franchise move (Dodgers, Giants, Browns, Raiders, etc.).

oh my goodness! the complex might be linked from the hudson/bergen light rail! that's great news! i live very, very close to one of the light rail stops!
