Game 20: Nets vs. Suns--12.06.03
New Jersey Nets (8-11) vs Phoenix Suns (8-10)
12/06/2003, 7:30 PM EST
Continental Airlines Arena, East Rutherford, NJ
TV: YES/NBALP, Radio: N/A
The Nets finally came to life against the Bucks and KMart and Kidd really stepped it up and led by example. RJ had a nice game as well. The Suns have not had a good season so far although they did beat the Mavs earlier and Boston on friday after trailing by 29 points at one time. Just like ud, if the Suns play to their potential, they can be a dangerous team.
Hopefully, the Nets can maintain the intensity and urgency they showed against the Bucks.

I'm going tonight. Should be a much better crowd than last night. Looks like its gonna snow all afternoon, but it should be done in time to shovel out for the game.
Stoudemire went down last night and did not return. No word yet on his availability tonight.
The Nets can still put together a good December run. Hopefully last night was the start.

Looks like Stoudemire is out.

The Suns lost forward Amaré Stoudemire to a sprained left ankle in the second quarter. He did not return and traveled to Phoenix to have the injury re-examined.

The snow is stopping, so things should be a go.

I was looking forward to the KMart-Amare matchup but this increases our chances and that's what matters the most.

Bring a sign and put something about the YES network on it, you'll get on tv for sure.

Cant take the suns lightly even without amare...
we cant take any team light, the nets are capable of beating any team, but also losing to any team, the days of blowing out teams are over, no one is takign us lightly anymore, if we dont bring it we will be beat...
that said this is a very winable game and we need to establish home court dominance once again

Yes, given that they put everything in their comeback against Boston, and that Amare will not play, this is a good opportunity to get a win against a struggling WC team on the homecourt.

Phoenix forward Amare Stoudemire is expected to miss three games because of a sprained left ankle.
Stoudemire sat out Saturday night's game against the New Jersey Nets, one day after getting hurt in the Suns' 110-106 victory in Boston.
He will return to Phoenix for further evaluation and also miss games against Orlando and Miami.
