I am all alone over there with the KMart worshippers, a couple mean guys, NI who seems like he's rarely there, and Kiddisablaze, who is half nice/half mean. I love the format there, though, so I can't get myself to leave. And it was so tight-knit there. But after somebody decided to recruit everyone to this place, urging people to never go back there, we're left with nothing anymore. Thanks a lot. I knew this would happen. You all destroyed our board. Sure, they delete some things, but we've also had great times over there and it makes me sad to think that so many great people left.

KIAN, the moderators there censor our thoughts. I cannot condone that behavior. It is wrong, wrong, wrong. We are customers; we deserve more respect than that. Just make a clean break already and come here. You are holding on to an ideal that doesn't exist.

kian, i actually like your posts, and bobs (well, sometimes) and other's, but way too many get deleted. and interesting, community stuff too, not just obnoxious ones. this format is just as good once you get used to it- it's just a little slower.

frankly, i go over there to read up (and now that fyodor is gone, i'l be doing that less) and 2/3 of the posts are "you're a dunce" "no, you're a dunce"
it's much nicer without that.

general shwerma won't be telling everyone who disagrees with him to die, and kiddisanet won't be called a robot or a girl or a teenage robot girl, whatever the latest trend is.

there are definetly benifits of posting at nj.com.

easier to read and sort through posts, and during games it is much better. Having only one topic here for a game night keeps me away.

nonetheless, i made the switch about 2 months ago when nj.com went down for a few days, and haven't looked back.

The only thing i would change about this place is having a better system during a game. Having one topic where three people post 500 times is just off.

I think there is a chat room feature, which would probably be more fun during a game, but I don't know if anyone uses it.

Yeah, I can understand that. I think the game threads benefit the people who aren't watching the game more than those who are. Seems like lately there are 4 posts for every play, so you have to sort through a lot of repeated stuff and fall behind quickly. I find it easier to just watch the game, and maybe post a few comments during timeouts. But I don't think the nj.com format is all that great for games either, since there's no opportunity to really repond to someone else and discuss anything.

That's the great thing about this format. You can have a running discussion about a particular topic over the course of a few days or weeks, and you don't have to be online at the exact same time as the other person to talk about it.

I actually like the game threads much better here. One thing I do is have my setting so that I see 50 posts per page. I like being able easily read a lot of posts at once.

Really, it is simple, bbb.net offers a superior product, end of story. As someone that use to post over there, I can't find much in your post that I agree with.
