GM Draft Teams
How's your team doing after the midway point of the season as the stretch is coming?
Delonte West 11.7 ppg, 4.6 apg, 3.1 rpg, 42.9 fg%, 1.1 spg, 38.8 3pt%, 85.4ft%
Rip Hamilton 21.3 ppg, 4.1 apg, 4 rpg, 46.2 fg%, .8 spg, 34 3pt%, 87.2 ft%
Adam Morrison 13.1 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 2.1 apg, 38.2 fg%, 33.7 3pt%, 70.4 ft%
Zach Randolph 23.7 ppg, 10.1 rpg, 1.9 apg, .8 spg, .2 bpg, 46.5 fg%, 82 ft%
Andrew Bogut 12.3 ppg, 8.9 rpg, 3 apg, .7 spg, .6 bpg, 54.5 fg%, 56.9 ft%
Brent Barry 8.6 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 1.8 apg, .8 spg, 49 fg%, 45.5 3pt%, 87.9 ft%
Ben Gordon 21.6 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 3.6 apg, .7 spg, 45.9 fg%, 40.3 3pt%, 88 ft%
Ruben Patterson 14.3 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 3.0 apg, 1.3 spg, 54.7 fg%, 62.8 ft%
Sean May 11.5 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 1.9 apg, .7 bpg, 49.2 fg%, 77.9 ft% (played only 32 games)
Tony Battie 6 ppg, 5.2 rpg, .5 bpg, 49.4 fg%, 70.2 ft%
Monta Ellis 17.3 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 4.2 apg, 1.4 spg, 47.2 fg%, 26.7 3pt%, 75.9ft%
Zarko Cabarkapa - Hasn't played.
Overall my team is averaging 161.4 points per game, 54.9 rebounds per game, and 30.2 assists per game, which are all above the NBA team league leaders this year. Overall I'd say my team has been very successful and has a magnificent bench.

^round where I was eliminated :P
Anderson Varejao 7.1/6.8/0.8 .6 BPG/.9 SPG 23.7 mpg .464/.000/.626
Carlos Boozer 21.2/11.6/2.9 .2/.9 35 mpg .571/.000/.698
Carmelo Anthony 30.4/6.0/4.1 .4/1.2 38.5 mpg .478/.230/.813
Quentin Richardson 13.1/7.3/2.2 .2/.8 33.5 mpg .422/.381/.692
Kirk Hinrich 16.1/3.5/6.2 .3/1.3 35.6 mpg .447/.401/.824
Jason Collins 2.4/4.4/.7 .5/.5 23.6 mpg .354/.000/.476
Keith Van Horn DNP
Kirk Snyder 4.8/2.2/1.0 .3/.4 14.3 mpg .429/.217/.654
Antoine Wright 4.9/3.1/1.0 .1/.5 20.2 mpg .424/.300/.661
Steve Blake 5.7/1.9/4.5 .1/.7 24.7 mpg .399/.310/.660
Michael Doleac 3.4/2.7/0.5 .2/.4 12.5 mpg .477/.000/.867
Tony Delk DNP
109.1 ppg, or a smooth 100 points per 48 minutes
I think it'd be hard to stop the firepower of my starters, and with KVH, and Doleac getting Collins minutes, I think this team could be/have been very successful.

I should have taken Foyle while I had the chance. That's the last time I let an opportunity like that slip through my fingers.

A-Dawg would have anchored your team down in the middle.

Re: GM Draft Teams
i'm not digging my team out (of the cellar) but from what i recall, i had k-mart, swift, diaw, taft, simien as my big men, so i am awesome up front. pierce, blake, crawford have been about what i expected, though pierce, crawford and diaw have all been "injured" at various times so as to help realize our goal of grabbing durant.

Re: GM Draft Teams
this brings up the old qestion of whether we drafted for one year or for a long-term period. If the goal was to draft the best team for this coming season, everyone would have drafted differently. Anyway, my starting four of Marion, Boozer, Kevin Martin, and Andre Miller is turning out pretty well. My primary bench players of Josh Childress, Drew Gooden, and Joe Smith is pretty good. Then it falls apart. Tsakalidis has been hurt and hasn't played very much, partly because I think he didn't fit into Memphis' quicker pace. My two rookies, Lowry and Hilton Armstrong, haven't done much, Lowry because he has been hurt. Marco Jaric I guess is OK as a third-string PG. Yahouba Diawarra has actually been pretty good for the last overall pick. I think that's everyone. Everyone laughed at the team, but I still believe that it is a playoff contender. Center is a weakness, but I have a couple of strong bigs on the bench. I would probably start both Martin and Childress, and use Marion as a PF and Boozer as the center.

Re: GM Draft Teams
Everyone knows (or can see) I drafted basically all young kids, and one of the centerpiece players was Krstic, who got hurt pretty early in the season (Why is it that all the guys I pick get hurt? Last year it was Marcus Banks missing almost half the season and Nene missing the whole year. But I digress.) Also having Bobby Simmons as my starting small forward hurts a little. But Durant would fit perfectly with this team-
Nenad Krstic 16.4 PPG 6.8 RPG 1.8 APG
Patrick O'Bryant 1.9 PPG 1.3 RPG 0.6 APG
Tyrus Thomas 4.1 PPG 3.0 RPG 0.5 APG
Josh Boone 2.5 PPG 2.2 RPG 0.1 APG
Nck Collison 9.9 PPG 8.1 RPG 0.9 APG
Bobby Simmons DNP
Joey Graham 5.7 PPG 2.8 RPG 0.4 APG
Dahntay Jones 7.0 PPG 1.9 RPG 0.8 APG
Larry Hughes 15.1 PPG 3.6 RPG 3.3 APG
Francisco Garcia 4.6 PPG 2.0 RPG 0.7 APG
Deron Williams 17.2 PPG 3.5 RPG 9.2 APG
Jarrett Jack 12.6 PPG 2.6 RPG 5.4 APG
TEAM STATS 97.0 PPG 37.8 RPG 23.7 APG
In comparison, this year the Nets are averaging 97.5 Points Per Game, 40.9 Rebounds Per Game, and 23.5 Assists Per Game.
My rebounding numbers are a little low, but I think my team has performed a lot better than most thought, especially considering my starting small forward (Simmons) hasn't played a second the whole season.

Re: GM Draft Teams
Overall my team would be leading the league in PPG, RPG, and APG.
