There is a mixture of perspectives in that forum, although it does appear that not as many of the "left" leaning folks have been posting lately.

There's too much yelling and screaming, and not enough "discussion" for my taste. A couple of kids who think they fully understand the issues, and know the answers.

On the subject of left-right dialogue, attention must be paid to the existence of the rather politically-oriented Blazers OT subforum in analyzing PE's regular posters. The Blazers OT forum has long been an area for political dialogue, but with a rather leftist slant overall. As such, many posters choose to post there. That's one reason that PE seems more right-oriented.
And I do not agree that it could be legitimately termed a 'right-wing' enclave.
