OT: Protein Shakes
Constant gym freak here and I've just recently tried drinking protein shakes or one atleast. Good god, Cookie and creme tastes horrible. 30 bucks wasted on that ****. I should have gotten a fruity flavor to mix with cold water, with cookie n cream, milk is the only option. What flavors would you recommend?

They all suck but just try not to think about it. It takes a while to get use , chocolate, vanilla and strawberry are my favorites. Make sure you are taking your daily vitamin and BCAA's.

I was about to get banana chocolate.
I want a drink I can mix with cold water and vanilla and chcoclate are going to taste like ****.

It's hard. Especially when you're working out and you're thirsty and you reach down to quench your thirst with a hot, cookie n cream shake. Disgusting.

They are A LOT worse with water, I suggest you drink the milk, besides you get more nutrition from it.

I know, I've been taking about 3 shakes a day for the past year or so and I'm still not in love with them. Try bringing a bottle of water with you so you can drink both.

What brand? I find Optimum Nutrition to be the best but I'm not a fan of the fruit flavors; howevr, I like to take vanilla shakes and put banana in it or chocolate and put peanut butter in it.

Interesting. I use the BodyTech brand. There were plenty of flavors there but the guy recommended cookie n cream so I went with it.

yeah i bought the optimum 100% whey isolate
the banana cream doesnt taste so bad when i make it into a shake with like one scoop of vanilla ice cream or with peanut butter and banana
they hide the taste a little
