Ah man
JUst found out that I'm getting 8, yes 8, teeth pulled out. Wisdom teeth included. Now these will be my first set of teeth taken out, for anyone who has ever experienced this, does it hurt?

8? Jeez, that's a lot. I had my last baby tooth pulled out in 6th grade because it refused to fall out on it's own. It wasn't to bad. Novocaine numbed my entire mouth, so you don't feel any pain at all. My dentist kept on asking me questions to keep my mind off of the fact that she was ripping my tooth out, too. I imagine it would take longer to pull out adult teeth, but I doubt you feel any pain. I might have to get my wisdom teeth pulled next year, too.

Nothing man. Just have an overcrowded mouth, by alot. Just recently had braces put in my mouth and to help give my teeth some seperation, I need to space out my mouth.

I had a lot of teeth pulled out as a kid, for the same reason. Most were baby teeth, but a few permanent ones also, although I was able to keep my wisdom teeth. You know, they give you some localized anaesthesia, so you don't feel anything, but feel a dull clanking in your mouth. When it wears off, it aches, like a muscle ache, for a while, in that area of your mouth but I wouldn't call it pain. After a few days it wears off and you eventually forget about it. It's kind of what a root canal feels like.
