i don't have alot of pimples on my face but i do get 2 or 3 big ones from time to time. i tried using a proscription medicine but i got an allergic reaction. then i tried using the oxy daily wash but got an allergic reaction to it 2. so i was wondering what some of u guys used to get rid of your pimples. stuff u can buy without prescription.

also i never know what to do with my pimples leave them alone or pop them. when i do pop them it looks as bad as the pimple. but when i leave it alone it feels like its never gonna go away.

Sorry to laugh but it's funny.

NEVER pop your pimples. I remember as a 15-16 year old kid I used to do that because I would freak out over getting a pimple and pop them with my nails. Worse thing that you can ever do. Just don't think about it and it eventually goes away. There's a thing, where the less you think about it, the faster it goes away.

What I use now is Clearasil but I don't have acne so I can't really tell you how effective it is but my suggestion would be to send in an order for ProActive.

NEVER pop them. If you absolutely have to I can tell you how to do it, but to try and reduce the swelling use ice.

use benzoyl peroxide products, I find that it works better than salicylic acid, on me at least... I use AcneFree, you can find it at riteaid or shoprite, 20 bux for the 3 bottles needed, works great, my acne went away in 3 days.

i did use a benzoyl peroxide but i got an allergic reaction to it. so i don't use it anymore.

Pro Active really works, I've been using it for about a week now and people can already tell the difference, I used to have huge pimples on the side of my face and they are going away and the small ones that are on my for head are going away too.

Pro-active is over-hyped. It used to be very good until they watered everything down to make more $$$. Check out Dan Kerns Regime at acne.org I use all 3 products just the way he instructs and they work MUCH better than pro-activ

Alot more people really need to know about Dan's Regimen on acne.org.

I've been on it for the last 3 years, and it's the best thing. Pro-active is really harsh on the skin (well, mine anyway), and everything XMATTHEWX said is true.(I'm just waiting for that moisturizer). They've also got a great community, lots of other suggestions for your skin, etc.

Isn't Dan's routine...umm...something well developed already...yet he is trying to steal credit for it?

I use neutrogena to cleanse my face, then I have 10% benzoyl peroxide. I don't use lotion because I don't get major drying, but it even mentions on the bottle using lotion if you have drying.

This is regular acne medicine that I have that has the 10% benzoyl peroxide in it.

Dan is trying to take credit for a routine that some company already had out.
