OK, an Article from Litch.

I’m finally starting to recognize this Hornets team.
Jamaal Magloire is back from a three-plus month stay on the injured list with a finger fracture and David West returned on Wednesday against Minnesota after missing 50-straight with a knee contusion.
Chris Andersen returns tonight against Houston after spending five games on the IL with an infected right elbow and Speedy Claxton is expected back for the Cleveland game on Monday.
Then you’ll have to check my temperature because the Hornets may actually be at full strength! That hasn’t been the case all season long. In fact, that hasn’t been the case since the Bees moved to New Orleans.
In the first season, Baron Davis missed 32 games with knee and back problems. In the second season, Jamal Mashburn missed 63 games with knee problems. This season has seen an avalanche of injuries so immense that the Hornets have been forced to overhaul the roster.
The Hornets started the season with one of the oldest rosters in the NBA; they’re now one of the youngest and likely to get even younger after the June draft. With 15 games remaining in the 2004-2005 season, the Hornets have just 15 victories. But they have significantly more hope today than they did in early January when the team ranked last in the league with a record of 2-29. Since then they’ve gone 13-23, which means they have more wins since early January than Atlanta has this entire season. Small consolation perhaps, but reason to believe that many of the Hornets early season woes can be attributed to the devastating injuries that at one point had five different regulars on the injured list.
With “Big Cat” and “D-West” back in the lineup and “Birdman” and “Speedy” to follow, the Hornets are starting to look like a team that can compete on a daily basis. Add to that the obvious development of youngsters J.R. Smith and “Boki” Nachbar and this team is starting to piece together some nice complementary parts.
Next up will be the June 28th draft and the July free agency to continue the process. If Allan Bristow and Co. do as well in those areas as they did in-season with the trades of Darrell Armstrong (for Dan Dickau), David Wesley (for Boki Nachbar), Jim Jackson (for Casey Jacobsen, Maciej Lampe, and Jackson Vroman), Jamal Mashburn and Rodney Rogers (for essentially salary cap space), and Baron Davis (for Claxton and additional cap space), then the Hornets could be one of the most improved teams in the league next season.
Now if they can just get past April Fools’ Day….

This is making me happy again! Go hornets
