Who do you think will get the 8th playoff spot in the East???

New Jersey Nets (41 - 10)

or

Cleveland Cavaliers (41 - 40)

Both have one game left this season, if both win it or lose it, the Nets will make it into the playoffs because of their better season series against the Cavs!

Damn, I forgot to post a poll...and I can't fix it, somehow you can't add a poll after creating a thread! Please just post your opinion! I will summary it tomorrow!

My vote gets: New Jersey Nets, they are just so hot right now!

New Jersey gets my vote. It's hard to argue since they have the tiebreaker. If they win or Cleveland loses, they get the 8th seed. To bad they couldn't have a one game playoff for the spot it's a tie.

I was also already thinking about such a thing! Or they could agree to playing against each other tonight! Both have games, if the Nets, the Cavs and the two opponents would agree it would be terrific...but this would be a very emotional game:

win --> playoffs --> heroes
lose --> no playoffs --> losers

Baseball does it and I believe its the best way to do it. No one wants to end a season on a tie breaker. It's not like the NBA wouldn't draw a huge market for a tiebreaker game. They could do it Friday on the NBA off day and the winner could start the playoffs sunday.

I would rather see the Nets in the playoffs just for the fact that they have a chance of winning some games with the way they're playing. But pick the Nets to win.
