Nachbar vs. Radmanovic
I'm gonna do a little comparision as there is the rumour that we are gonna sign Radmanovic....
Nacbar is a 6'9 SF compared to 6'10 for Radmanovic.
Nachbar stats with the Hornets last year:
20.7 Minutes Per game
8.1 Pts
2.80 Rebs
1.2 Assist
.397 FG%
.371 3FG%
.838 FT%
1.24 Turnovers Per Game
Radmanovic's stats last season with Seattle:
29.5 Minutes Per game
11.8 Pts
4.60 Rebs
1.5 Assist
.409 FG%
.389 3FG%
.786 FT%
1.27 Turnovers Per Game
Now stats only tell a certain story. But looking at the fact that Radmanovic played nearly 10 more minutes per game then Boki and the bigger fact that Radmonovic was on a winning team with a good bit of talent, I just do not see, from a statistical standpoint, that he is that much better than Boki.
So do the Hornets really need to pay a player six-seven million a year to be a similiar type of player than the one they already have?

Re: Nachbar vs. Radmanovic
I for one wouldn't pay Radmanovic 7 million dollars a year just to be a spot up shooter. I haven't seen him create offense for himself all that well, and defensively he's not the kind of rebounder and interior presence you'd want for a guy that's 6'10-6'11. He's only 24 years old, and he's a damn good shooter, but I don't think the Hornets should bother with him if they want to start him. He would make the team better, but not by that much.

Re: Nachbar vs. Radmanovic
Radmanovic can drive extremely well for a guy his size, and his defense is a lot better than you'd expect from a Euro. I'd say he's second in a Euros behind Ginobili in both categories. He averaged around 1.5 spg last year or the year before. He has no post up game whatsoever.

Re: Nachbar vs. Radmanovic
When the Sonics have both Radmanovic and Rashard Lewis on the floor, opposing defenses experience big match-up challenges. Its a shame that Radman got injured last year late in the season and then in the playoffs. Unless some team throws alot of money at Radman and offers him starting minutes, he's gonna end up in Seattle for at least one more year.

Re: Nachbar vs. Radmanovic
Nachbar kind of stagnated warming the bench in Houston, Hornets offered him a chance to play and I think you should get the benefits of that this year... as soon as Nachbar's shot starts dropping and he gets some self confidence he can be better than Radmanovic (just as he was a better player in europe)... anyway Radmanovic is much better player right now, but Nachbar wasn't drafted as high for nothing he has loads of talent and it's time for him to show it this season... if he doesn't, I'll consider him as a bust...

Re: Nachbar vs. Radmanovic
Radman can fit in Byrons system.
I'd definatly love if the Hornets sign him, he's a great player, makes a great job, and can also rebound.
Boki has a little more to demostrate

Re: Nachbar vs. Radmanovic
I will agree in Radman is more proven. Boki is a good player and they are of a similar mold. It would all depend on how much we would have to pay Radman. I believe whoever we sign at SF is going to be a backup eventually anyway unless its Joe Johnson.

Re: Nachbar vs. Radmanovic
Radmanovich is definitely a better player. He is IMO a good starting caliber SF in the NBA. He did what he did in Seattle w/ Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis ahead of him. I think he is better than his production says he is. I like Nachbar's game but I think he is probably going to be a career backup. I see him similar to Dickau at their respective positions, except I think Nachbar has more potential at his position. I would like the addition of Radmanovich as the starting SF as long as it doesn't cost us too much. Joe Johnson would be my 1st choice but there's no way he's coming here so I'm going to stop dreaming he will.
