What do you guys think of the offseason moves so far? Give the Hornets an overall grade on their offseason moves. What else needs to be done for the Hornets to become a playoff team?

I give them a B for their offseason, which includes the draft. This team wasn't going anywhere with Dan Dickau and Speedy Claxton at PG, so it was huge that they got someone to fill that role. I loved the trade where they got Snyder and Rasual Butler without giving up anything really, but those two guys are only going to help so much. They brought back Chris Andersen and Nachbar, two guys who should be solid bench players, so that was good as well.

To be a playoff team, well, as for right now they are still a star away from that. Given time, JR Smith and Paul should develop into stars, so the Hornets just need to build on each season and I think they could be in the playoffs in 2-3 years. There's still not too much talent on the team right now, but if they draft well and spend their money wisely, that could change fast.

well i'm not up to speed with everything this team has done so far this offseason, but i'm looking forward to seeing them rebuild. they have plenty of young talent in smith, paul, and magloire and they have lots of cap room. they shouldn't have too much trouble putting a quality team together in the near future.
