Didnt they just sign Jackson? I don't think that they're allowed to trade Jackson since they just signed him. Also, how would Magloire do playing PF? Because Kristic is taking up the C spot.
Also, that Clippers unprotected will be very high, I don't think NJ gives that up.

Yes, but he can be traded 60 days from now.
Yes, the pick will be very high but I really don't know what the Hornets will get for Magloire. I hope he lands in NJ because I think that he can make them an elite team (he would have been better than SAR, IMO).

New Orleans has no reason to trade Magloire unless they can get some sort of impact player in return. Just like the Pacers trade that was proposed in this forum, the Hornets don't need a quantity for quality swap. They need quality for quality.

Im not jumping on this TRADE MAGLOIRE bandwagon just yet. If he starts getting vocal about wanting to leave and were going to lose him in FA anyway then yes lets try and get something for him. I really value our size we have with Magloire because of our division. We have to have someone to help compete with Duncan, Mohammad, Yao, Swift, and Dirk.
