Summer League...

Of course if he doesn't participate I'm sure that will be the icing on the cake for them to get rid of him.

Re: Hornets hoping Smith participates in Vegas..

Summer league would be a great oppurtunity for him to prove that he has a real future in the league.I wonder if the Hornets want him to play so that he can increase his trade value though.

Re: Hornets hoping Smith participates in Vegas..

Thats exactly where he belongs.

JR Smith is one of the best examples of a player that needed college. Roy Williams would have been great for him

Re: Hornets hoping Smith participates in Vegas..

JR smith is going to be an example of why they put an age limit, becasue you can have the skills to play in the NBA but you might not be ready maturity wise. He just going to be another excuse for not letting high schollers go to the pros. Maybe it's a good thing maybe it's a bad thing. It's kind of a good thing in my opinion because some of the high schooler could now go to college and show that he has some nba potiential, instead of a team making a mistake and taking him in the draft when he wasn't ready.

I agree Jsimo. Roy Williams would have been great for JR. And he would've won a championship with May, McCants and the rest of the guys. Well, what's done is done.
