Hornets back home by 07'?

Re: Hornets back home by 07'?

we've all known stern had the intention of bringing the hornets back to new orleans, and he is the man in charge. good news for hornets fans. i'll continue to follow the hornets when they move back.. i know a lot of new orleans' fans that are happy..

No news here. Stern has been saying this for quite sometime.

Re: Hornets back home by 07'?

I hope they come back and NO hosting an all star game so '07-08 could be a good year for New Orleans when it comes to basketball.

Re: Hornets back home by 07'?

This news makes me increasingly nervous and queasy as a Sonics fan...though I'm happy for the people of New Orleans; it certainly is no fun having a team move to another city...

i've been hearing the possibility of the Oklahoma City Kings if Sactown fails to build a new arena...

Well, their owners are not FROM Oklahoma City. Ugh, Seattle without basketball would be horrible. I don't live in Seattle, I live in eastern WA where it isn't rainy, just cold, but from what I hear from people that live in Seattle, it's rainy and dark EVERY day in the winter. Basketball was made for Seattle, and having it move would be depressing for many people.

Re: Hornets back home by 07'?

I think David Stern is a man of his word and the best commishioner in all of sports, so I trust him and everybody else should too. The man we shouldn't be trusting, however, is George Shinn and his double talk

Expect to hear more double talk from Shinn this season. He'll double talk until the moving trucks are loaded up and headed back to N.O. Also, they're now talking about holding a portion of training camp in N.O...
