LOS ANGELES -- In a private team meeting just minutes after the Hornets' third consecutive loss, somebody stood up.
It was Desmond Mason, who, like most of the other Hornets, failed to rise to the challenge of snapping the streak.
Mason fiercely told his teammates that everyone was just standing around, waiting for someone else -- namely, Chris Paul -- to bail them out. Someone must take the initiative.
