David West....AWOL in the 2nd half. And by AWOL I mean not as active or involved.

Re: New Orleans Hornets (4-0) @ Portland Trail Blazers (0-3)
Hornets went stone cold in the third quarter.CP set the shooters up and they missed everything.Portland couldn't hardly miss.
Chandler got his second T...I think someone hit him in the mouth and that didn't seem to please him.

Now Portland is stone cold. Entertaining game thus far. I loved David West college out of college a few years ago, and hoped he'd end up in a Portland uniform. I haven't followed him since, until this year started. He's off to a great start this year. Aside from Chandler, I like this Hornets roster.

Why couldn't Peja shoot like this last night?

Ouch I don't hate the Lakers!
Looks like it'll be lost #1 for the Hornets, which will put them in a 3 way tie for 1st in the division with Houston and SA. The Southwest looking as competitive as ever (discounting the Grizzlies)

Re: New Orleans Hornets (4-0) @ Portland Trail Blazers (0-3)
This game would have been more interesting if they'd counted the trey CP hit at the end of the 3rd.It was really so close that they almost could have said it was out of his hand. The cold shooting in the third definitely cost them.Aside from Tyson getted ejected they played pretty well, but in that quarter they missed shots and Portland hit them.Peja was worthless though. He only scored 5 points on 13 shots and when Roy wasn't abusing him on penetration he was leaving Webster open for the jumpers

Re: New Orleans Hornets (4-0) @ Portland Trail Blazers (0-3)
What happened to Mo? Did he just get a busted lip or was one of his teeth knocked out? Peja apparently used up all his shots last night. Hornets got nothing from Rasual tonight. I would've prefered to have Haluska out there to shoot the ball. Chandler ejected. And then Bobby hits a 3 at the final buzzer but couldn't do that all night long. West's nice game went to waste. It would've been nice to get a win tonight because the Spurs are in town on Friday. Truthfully I didn't feel good about this game all day and now I know why.

I don't know why Scott doesn't play Paul more than 34 minutes in this game.If it was me he'd probably be pushing 40 minutes every night the game was closer than 15 points.

I don't know what he's doing to Paul's rotation. It's always been Paul playing the entire 1st quarter. But tonight he pulled him with like a little over 4 minutes to go in the first. About the same time Blake sat down. He hasn't been playing him the entire first. And he usually plays him during the last 5 or 6 minutes of the 2nd. All of the 3rd, and the last 5 or 6 minutes of the 4th. For some reason he's been changing his minutes. He should've played him more in the 4th tonight.
