Re: New Orleans Hornets (52-22) vs. New York Knicks (20-55)
I saw Sportscenter showing something about the Knicks...I think they're 2-15 in their last 17 games and both their wins were against the Heat. They played pretty well against the Hornets in MSG though.Hornets clinch a playoff spot with either a win or a GSW loss in Memphis. If they want homecourt they certainly can't afford to let this one get away.

LOL! I only had 2 of the Knicks' starters right. Crawford and Randolph.

Hornets are sleepwalking so far...They really look like they aren't taking the Knicks seriously.I haven't been happy with their play in either florida games and so far I'm not happy tonight either.Someone has to put a body on Randolph...Of course Chandler has trouble with big guys...It looks like Randolph is big and he looks like he's about 30 pounds overweight so maybe Tyson should try to outrun him.

CP must realize that the team needs him to score tonight...Knicks have no answer when he goes into the paint and he should have started the game a lot more agressively. Can't say I'm all that happy though.Hornets played very lackluster ball in the first quarter and they played terrible to start the second quarter. They should have come out with some fire and took it to these bums. Now they've let them think they have a chance and they do if the Hornets don't play a lot better in the 2nd half.

Re: New Orleans Hornets (52-22) vs. New York Knicks (20-55)
Halftime ..... Hornets 60 ..... Knicks 56
I'm sure Byron will remind them to tighten up the defense in the 2nd half. They started doing that towards the end of the 2nd quarter and CP started taking over a little bit, (17pts, 6asts, and 4rebs to end the 1st half) and Tyson with a nice block that got them running. Hopefully Peja will also come into the 2nd half shooting better. He has 10 points but it would be nice if he shot a bit better.

Re: New Orleans Hornets (52-22) vs. New York Knicks (20-55)
God this wasn't a very impressive win.I have to listen to Clyde and Kenny trashing the Hornets defense and they deserve it tonight, but it's obvious that those clowns have never watched the hornets play. They have to get back on track if they want to do anything in the playoffs. It's pretty obvious that they didn't take the Knicks seriously though.
Hornets clinch a playoff spot and the Spurs lose in Utah so when the night ends the Hornets will be up 1.5 on the SPurs and at least 1.5 on the Lakers(2.5 if Dallas beats them).Noone else in the West has clinced a spot although the Spurs will with one more win...Maybe the Lakers could tonight if they have the tiebreakers with GSW...Don't know.

First WC team to clinch a playoff berth this season. Unbelievable.

Paul had his 11th 20pt, 15ast game of the season. Rest of the league combined has 8.

Re: New Orleans Hornets (52-22) vs. New York Knicks (20-55)
How many 33 point 15 assist games does the rest of the league have?I'd guess it's not many.
That doesn't include either of his 20 assist games...I'm sort of disappointed that he hasn't had a 20-20 game yet,but CP doesn't even try to score if other guys are hitting their shots.I don't remember, but I don't think he took more than a couple shots in the first quarter tonight...I believe he had 17 points on only 8 shots at halftime.I'm about positive that he could go for fifty on a team like the Knicks if he started out the game agressively and played the entire game just looking to score, but that's not him and I like him fine the way he is.
