The way things look now it is possible that you guys could end up with a game against Dallas on the 16 that wouldnt mean anything as far as being able to improve your seeding. This is because LAL plays SAC on the 15th and if they win they clinch first seed.

So my question for you hornets fans is if this senario plays out who do the Hornets want to meet in the playoffs Dallas or Denver. With the game against Dallas, New Orleans pretty much can choose who they want to play against. Rest their players and give the game away and meet Dallas in the playoffs, or try to win the game beat Dallas and meet Denver (assuming they can take care of business at home against Memphis) in the playoffs. Just curious what route you think your team would take if this senario comes into play.

I keep asking myself the same thing Melo's Answer. I think we'd have to sit back and look at who the Hornets may match up better with. Right now I'm just hoping they can end up with homecourt and possibly winning the SW Division.

Only way would it would effect seeding would be if the Kings beat the Lakers...Assuming that they don't lose to the clippers.If you beat the clippers you clinch the Southwest and the 2nd seed because Houston and SA lost yesterday.If the Lakers beat the Kings then they clinch the 1st seed...Although having 57 wins would be a decent incentive in itself.
