Lakers or Jazz?
Who'd you guys rather play against (if Hornets win this series)?
Regular Season:
v.s. Lakers - 2 Wins 2 Losses. Note that both wins came against the Lakers with no Gasol (he got injured after 2mins in one of those games). Kobe routinely lights up the Hornets as they have no one to contain him.
v.s. Jazz - 1 Win 3 Losses. In most cases, Deron have been able to shut down Paul in their head-to-head match-ups. Hornets would have home court advantage against them, however.
Chances are it'll be the Lakers, but would be awesome to see Paul and Deron go at it in the WC Finals.

Re: Lakers or Jazz?
It's all about matchups. Whoever is the best matchup for the Hornets. Actually I don't know which one I'd feel more comfortable with. I think the Lakers are a slightly better matchup but I'd probably still give them the edge. Tyson usually plays Gasol well (when Gasol was at Memphis) but Lamar also plays West pretty well. And I think since the Jazz won the series 3-1, they'd probably have homecourt advantage. Hornets have the better winning percentage but the Jazz won the head to head. I'm not really sure. I'm trying not to look that far yet. Still gotta get past the Spurs.

Re: Lakers or Jazz?
I haven't been here a while so ill start with this, my opinion is that the Jazz are good but are not at the same level the Lakers are at and this is going to show for the rest of the series, Jazz have a strong team but Lakers have shown that they are a huge challange for the Championship because the Mav's are no easy team but the Lakers made them look terrible and i think that the Jazz is a strong team but Lakers will take it.

Hornets would get the home-court advantage against Utah since they're the #2 seed. Head-to-head doesn't matter if it's a #2 and #4 seed. Hornets had the better record.
Oh, and you guys don't want to play us.

No prob. I think the only time a lower seed can get home-court advantage in the playoffs is in the 4/5 match-up.

Re: Lakers or Jazz?
It's going to be tough against either team. But we have to beat the spurs first before worrying about that.
