Hornets Sign Tierre Brown

Charleston Lowgators point guard Tierre Brown has signed a 10-day contract with the New Orleans Hornets, making him the fourth "Gatorade Call-Up" of the season for the National Basketball Development League.

Brown is the second Charleston player to be called up to the NBA in the last 12 days. Forward Ime Udoka just completed a 10-day assignment with the Los Angeles Lakers and will return to Charleston to take the vacant spot on the Lowgators roster.
