Road Kill

The Hornets have lost their past six games away from New Orleans Arena; starting tonight in Miami, they hope to turn their road fortunes around and establish some confidence heading into the playoffs

The Hornets enter tonight's game at American Airlines Arena against the Heat 13-19 on the road, facing a home team that's 22-12 on its floor, including a 91-87 victory over New Orleans on Nov. 25.

It's been one month since the Hornets last won on the road, that an 89-75 drubbing of the Indiana Pacers at Conseco Fieldhouse on Feb. 17.

"I know we're 0-6 lately, and it seems like it's a pretty long streak," said Hornets forward P.J. Brown, who said he will play tonight despite a mildly sprained left ankle he suffered in Saturday's victory over the Golden State Warriors. "I think we're definitely due for one."

This team really baffles me sometimes. I think we'll beat the Heat but I can't imagine it being a blowout.

Hey, a person can hope can't they? The Heat were the better team last night.

I'm not surprised we lost. There is obviously something wrong that hasn't been fixed. I don't think Mash's injury is a problem, I still think there is disharmony within the team.

Good win against Philly. No Mash or P.J. but that's o.k. because The Rookie and Tractor stepped it up.
