Anthony Davis
So it's pretty much assured that the Hornets will be taking the Brow with the number one pick, which is great for them, but how good do we realistically expect him to be right off the bat? I think he already has the tools to be a game changing defensive player, but he will need to grow into his frame before I see him as a real offensive threat.
What kind of numbers are we expecting out of the gate?

Re: Anthony Davis
Depending on who is in the starting 5 along with him, I think 12/8/2 blocks would be an excellent rookie campaign. A great deal of his intagibles in terms of patrolling the paint and altering shots wont be visible statistical, but will be obvious when watching a game. Depending on where thomas robinson goes I could actually see him possibly getting the ROY over davis, but from year 2 on it should be obvious who the best in class is from 2012.

Re: Anthony Davis
12/8/2 seems about right. I was leaning towards a 11/10/3 kinda line myself, which already would put him in a pretty rare category of double doubling right outta the gate.
With his length he will be a game changer defensively. Offensively he is pretty raw, but has the tools to become a good player on that end.
